It’s a snow storm outside, and I’m warming up inside under a blanket, with Eluvium pouring out from my speakers.
That was what I felt the first time I listened to them: warmth and cosiness. Similes is one of those few ambient albums which doesn’t get lost at some point, and you forget it’s playing somewhere in the background. It’s there, present, getting under your skin, contributing to your mood.
