I must say that both the director and the cast made me watch this movie. I really really loved Hicks‘ Shine and most of all, Hearts in Atlanis (one of my all time faves). Aaron Eckhard had a great performance in Thank You For Smoking and so did Abigail in Little Miss Sunshine. I’ve never been a Catherine Zeta-Jones fan, but I’ve seen her in movies I’ve liked, also (High Fidelity for example).
But this movie was soooo predictable. I mean, I was able to anticipate almost every scene 10 minutes before it happened. I’m pretty sure Hicks can do better.
I should have just save this one for a lazy Sunday afternoon when I don’t even feel like following a plot.
It wasn’t bad, but way to predictable.
