Bee Movie (2007)

Directed by: Steve Hickner & Simon J. Smith
Cast (Voices): Jerry Seinfeld, Renée Zellweger, Matthew Broderick, John Goodman, Larry King, Sting, Chris Rock, Oprah

I’ve been waiting to see this animation since I first heard that Jerry Seinfeld is writing it and it’s gonna be the voice of the main character.
This really cute animation is about a witty bee that will not follow the rules that each and every bee is following, and will take his own path. The life in the honeycomb is really nice imagined and represented. I just loved the animation itself.

Barry (Seinfeld) realizes that people are using the honey – that the bees make with great effort and amazing organizational skills – for commercial purposes, without giving any credits to the bees. So he decides to sue the humankind. Of course this is not really easy and most of all, will not go by without any consequences.

I had quite some laughs watching this movie, and I recommend it to anyone who likes animations and/or wants to spend a fun afternoon/evening.
