Directed by: Yulene Olaizola
Cast: Rosa Elena Carvajal, Florencia Vega Moctezuma.
A really nice documentary which was actually made as a project for film school by Yulene. It is actually a sort of interview with her grandma and the lady who helped her around the house, about this guy who used to live in her grandma’s hose when she was little. The guy painted and wrote poetry, but later it proved that he might have been this serial killer who would strangle women in hotel rooms.
The documentary is very personal and touching. Very nicely filmed. I liked it a lot. And I liked the fact that the director, Yulene, was in the theater and answered questions about the film.
Later edit: the movie actually won the big prize in the film festival. Yey.
